The Client

Sapiens is a publicly traded global leader in InsureTech, supplying digital software to insurers across life, property & casualty and reinsurance. More than 600 insurers in over 30 countries run on its platforms, built by around 5,000 people.

Its mission is to lead insurance's digital transformation — which means making that case to prospects, customers and the industry at large. Sapiens wanted a webinar programme to do it, and brought in Noetic to run the whole thing.

Every webinar started
from a standing start.

Registrations were hard to come by, and nothing about the operation repeated.

01

The challenge

Sapiens struggled to fill webinars, and had no way to tell one audience from another by how engaged it actually was. Each event was assembled from scratch.

02

The foundation

We took GoToWebinar end to end — platform setup, speaker coordination, scheduling and test runs — so a session was a produced show rather than a call that happened to be recorded.

03

The outcome

Pre-show content through post-show edits, branded throughout and repeatable. Forty-six percent of registrants turned up live.

Attention had to be designed in,
not hoped for.

Holding a room for forty-five minutes is a production problem before it is a content problem.

Built for participation

We developed the presentations with Sapiens and wired in polls, surveys and live Q&A, so the audience had something to do every few minutes rather than only something to watch.

02

Measured while it ran

Attentiveness, poll participation and Q&A volume were tracked live, not reconstructed afterwards — so a session could be steered while it was still happening.

The webinar was never
the whole campaign.

Registrations are won in the weeks before. Leads are won in the weeks after. The hour in the middle only converts what the rest of the programme brings it.

The Aha! Moment

The webinar was never the deliverable.
Everything around it was.

Sapiens already had the expertise, the speakers and something worth saying. What the programme lacked was the operation wrapped around the hour — the promotion that filled the room, the segmentation that told one attendee from another, the analytics that proved any of it, and the on-demand life the recording should already have had.

Once every stage was owned and measured, a webinar stopped being an event on a calendar and started being a repeatable source of qualified pipeline.

A webinar does not underperform because the topic was wrong. It underperforms when nobody owns the four weeks before it and the two weeks after.

Project Summary

Own every stage around the hour — the promotion, the production, the segmentation and the on-demand life — and a webinar stops being an event on a calendar and starts being pipeline.

The programme let Sapiens establish itself as a thought leader in InsureTech while someone else carried the technical and promotional complexity of hosting. The execution and the post-webinar strategy are what turned attention into leads.
